Mr Madhusudhan Nannaparaju is an experienced consultant orthopaedic surgeon specializing in lower limb arthroplasty and knee sports injuries. He has a special interest in knee replacement surgery, partial knee replacement surgery, sports injuries, anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries and reconstruction, hip replacement surgery, and knee arthroscopy for joint preservation. With over 15 years of expertise, he has performed over 150 joint replacements annually. Mr Nannaparaju received his postgraduate surgical training in prestigious hospitals in London and Liverpool, including the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital and The Royal London Hospital. He further honed his skills through fellowship training at the South West London elective orthopaedic centre and The Barts Health NHS. Currently, Mr Nannaparaju is a Consultant Orthopaedic surgeon at Barking, Havering and Redbridge hospitals, where he worked to improve patient care during the Covid-19 pandemic. He practices at the Practice Plus Group Hospitals in Ilford and Gillingham. He is actively involved in teaching and training, serving as faculty in Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) teaching courses and as an examiner for medical students at Queen Mary University of London.
