Mr Madhu Rao is a highly experienced Clinical Director and Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic surgeon at Western Sussex Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, with over 30 years of expertise. Specialising in Lower Limb Orthopaedic Surgery, he completed his qualifications in 1991 and received Fellowships from the Royal College of Surgeons in Trauma and Orthopaedics. Mr Rao has extensive training in lower limb arthroplasty, including specialist hospitals in Germany, Belgium, and the USA. His main expertise lies in primary and complex revision hip and knee replacements, soft tissue injuries around the knee, and ligament reconstructions, in addition to managing trauma and periprosthetic fractures around the hip and knee.
