Mr Loren Charles is a specialist lower limb Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with extensive experience in trauma and orthopaedic surgery. He obtained an Honours degree and graduated as a doctor from UCL Medical School in 2004. Mr Charles completed his Orthopaedic training in the London Deanery and also holds a postgraduate Master's degree in Trauma and Orthopaedics. He was awarded The Charnley Latta Travelling Scholarship and completed a Fellowship at St Michael's Hospital in Toronto, where he gained expertise in hip and knee surgery as well as foot and ankle surgery. Currently, Mr Charles serves as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon for Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust, working at both Darent Valley and Queen Mary's Hospitals. Mr Loren Charles has a special interest in lower limb orthopaedic surgeries, including foot and ankle procedures, knee replacement, knee arthroscopy, meniscal surgery, and cartilage treatments. He is also skilled in trauma surgery and offers video and telephone consultations. Mr Charles is dedicated to higher surgical training and has obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Education. He is a member of the Faculty of Surgical Trainers and teaches Advanced Trauma Life Support.
