He holds positions as a trainer for hand fellows and serves as co-chairman of the Board of Examiners for the European Diploma in Hand Surgery. With over 25 years of expertise, Mr Muir has trained in orthopaedics and various hand surgeries. He is a consultant hand surgeon at Salford Royal Hospital and a member of several surgical societies. His specializations lie in hand and wrist surgeries, with a particular interest in sports injuries, carpal tunnel syndrome, and Dupuytren's contracture. Mr Muir has received training fellowships in France and the UK and has been recognised for his contributions to the field. Outside of medicine, Mr Muir enjoys music.
