Krishna Boddu

Mr Krishna Boddu is an accomplished orthopaedic surgeon with extensive experience in complex hip and knee arthroplasty. He completed his medical education in India and went on to pursue post-graduation in orthopaedic surgery at one of India's leading medical institutions, PGIMER, Chandigarh. Mr Boddu's passion for the field led him to conduct research in orthopaedic biomechanics at Imperial College in London. He underwent registrar training in London and fellowship training in HMR, Montreal and King's College Hospital, London. With his strong educational background and hands-on experience, he is well-versed in the latest surgical techniques and advancements in lower limb arthroplasty. Mr Boddu has published numerous research papers in orthopaedic journals and frequently presents at national and international conferences. He is also a reviewer for the Bone and Joint Journal. In addition to his expertise in hip and knee arthroplasty, he has a special interest in Artificial Intelligence and is a co-founder of IMERA.AI, holding patents for developing AI algorithms for medical imaging analysis. Currently, Mr Boddu holds the position of Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedics at Ipswich Hospital, Ipswich within the NHS. His specialties include trauma and orthopaedic surgery, with specific expertise in hip and knee arthroplasty, as well as knee arthroscopy. He offers video and telephone consultations as part of his practice. Outside of work, Mr Boddu enjoys playing badminton and chess. He believes in leading a healthy lifestyle, which helps him maintain a balance between his professional and personal life.
