Koushik Ghosh is an experienced trauma and orthopaedic surgeon with a strong focus on lower limb surgery, particularly in knee injuries. He completed his orthopaedic training in Sussex and Surrey and obtained an FRCS qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2017. Mr Ghosh further honed his skills through international fellowships, including one at the North Sydney Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Centre. His expertise lies in knee replacement, hip replacement, sports injuries, knee preservation surgery, ACL reconstruction, and more. Throughout his career, he has held positions at Frimley Park Hospital and University Hospitals Sussex NHS Trust, where he is dedicated to improving patient outcomes and local care services. Specialising in hip and knee surgeries, Mr Ghosh has a remarkable interest in developing innovative approaches to orthopaedic care. He has actively engaged in research, with a particular focus on paediatric ACL reconstruction using parental living donor allograft, which he presented at ISAKOS in Cancun 2019. Passionate about education, he has mentored registrars in the Kent, Surrey, and Sussex rotation, imparting the latest orthopaedic research standards and evidence. He also oversees a Worthing-based acute knee clinic and collaborates with musculoskeletal physiotherapists to enhance patient care and services in the area. In addition to his medical pursuits, Koushik Ghosh enjoys sports, travelling, playing the classical guitar, skiing, and engaging in DIY projects. These varied interests outside the hospital environment showcase his multifaceted personality and dedication to a well-rounded lifestyle beyond his orthopaedic practice.
