Khalid Drabu is a highly experienced consultant in lower limb joint replacement surgery, with over 20 years of expertise in the field. He has personally performed over 12,000 joint replacements of the hip and the knee. Khalid is a member of The British Orthopaedic Association and The British Hip Society. He has been a consultant in Trauma and Orthopaedics at Surrey & Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust since 1988. In addition to his NHS role, Khalid Drabu is also affiliated with Spire Gatwick Park Hospital and Ramsay North Downs Hospital. His specializations include trauma and orthopaedic surgery, with a particular focus on hip and knee procedures. He regularly gives lectures to General Practitioners, Physiotherapists, Osteopaths, and Chiropractors. Khalid Drabu has received awards for his exemplary work and is often invited to present his research at international and national meetings. His research interests lie in hip and knee surgery, with a major focus on complex revision hip surgery. Outside of his professional life, Khalid enjoys volunteering in disaster areas, gardening, and socializing with family and friends.
