Keith Hayward is an experienced orthopaedic consultant with a specialization in trauma and orthopaedic surgery. He completed his undergraduate training in Johannesburg, South Africa, and his postgraduate training in the West Midlands, including a fellowship in knee surgery at Derby Royal Infirmary. Currently, he holds a position as an orthopaedic consultant at the University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust. Keith Hayward is a highly qualified surgeon with various memberships and qualifications. He has a Bachelor of Science degree and a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree. Additionally, he is an ATLS Instructor, a member of the British Orthopaedic Association, and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh. In 2008, he obtained his FRCS Trauma & Orth qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons UK. His areas of expertise include hip and knee surgeries, with a particular interest in primary hip and knee arthroplasty, partial knee replacement surgery, arthroscopic soft tissue knee surgery, and forefoot surgery. He has also received awards for his management and treatment of osteoarthritis and treatment of patellofemoral pain and instability. Outside of his profession, Keith Hayward enjoys cycling, photography, and music.
