Joseph Windley is a Consultant Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeon with extensive experience in the field. He graduated from Imperial College School of Medicine at St Mary's Hospital in 2003 and completed his basic surgical training in Guildford. He then underwent specialist Orthopaedic training on the London North West Thames Rotation, including working at renowned hospitals such as St Mary's Hospital, Charing Cross Hospital, West Middlesex University Hospital, Croydon University Hospital, and Kingston Hospital. He furthered his expertise with an arthroplasty fellowship at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore. Since 2014, he has been working as a Consultant Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeon at Kingston Hospital, where he is also the hip fracture governance lead. His elective lower limb joint replacement work is carried out at the Elective Orthopaedic Centre in Epsom, one of the busiest joint replacement centers in the UK. Joseph is known for his passion for teaching and regularly participates in courses and conferences at Kingston Hospital and Imperial College. Joseph Windley specializes in Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery, with sub-specialties in the hip and knee. His areas of interest include total hip replacement, revision total hip replacement, total knee replacement, knee arthroscopy for meniscal pathology / loose bodies, hip tendinopathies / trochanteric bursitis, intra-articular joint injections, investigation and advice on painful joint replacements, trauma, and removal of metalwork. In addition to his medical career, Joseph Windley has a keen interest in teaching. He is actively involved in teaching hip and plastering courses at Kingston Hospital, as well as being a regularly invited faculty member at postgraduate courses and conferences organized by Imperial College. Joseph's commitment to education ensures that he stays up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field and shares his expertise with fellow healthcare professionals.
