About
Mr Jonathan Quayle is a highly experienced and internationally fellowship-trained consultant orthopaedic surgeon with a focus on hip and knee surgery and lower limb trauma. He is dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for his patients, employing a patient-centred and evidence-based approach. His clinical interests range from joint preservation surgery in active young patients to complex revision surgery. He is actively involved in research and teaching, having published in peer-reviewed orthopaedic journals and presented his work nationally and internationally. Mr Quayle is a member of various professional associations including the British Orthopaedic Association, British Association of Surgery of the Knee, and British Hip Society. After graduating from Cambridge and Oxford Universities, Mr Quayle served as a trauma surgeon in Afghanistan before pursuing his orthopaedic career. He received additional training through international fellowships in North Shore Hospital, Auckland, and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore. He is committed to improving patient outcomes and runs a course on peri-prosthetic fracture management. Mr Quayle currently holds a consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeon position at Salisbury District Hospital, along with practicing at Ramsay New Hall Hospital. His sub-specialties include hip and knee surgery, and he offers video and telephone consultations. He is registered with the General Medical Council as a specialist in orthopaedic surgery. In addition to his professional achievements, Mr Quayle has a particular interest in peri-prosthetic joint infection and peri-prosthetic fracture management. Despite his busy schedule, he remains dedicated to teaching and mentoring the next generation of orthopaedic surgeons.
