Mr Jonathan Dwyer is an experienced consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeon, specializing in orthopaedic surgery since 1990. He has a particular focus on paediatric orthopaedics and treats a range of musculoskeletal conditions in both children and adults. His expertise includes managing fractures, acute bone and joint infections, and complex conditions. Mr Dwyer is known for his caring attitude, excellent surgical technique, and high success rates. He currently holds a consultant position at the University Hospital of North Staffordshire Major Trauma Centre. Mr Dwyer's qualifications include a BSc (Hons) in Pharmacology & Therapeutics from the University of London, an MB BS from the University of London, and FRCS (Eng) and FRCS (Orth) from the Royal College of Surgeons England. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the British Orthopaedic Association, British Society for Children's Orthopaedic Surgery, British Medical Association, Royal College of Surgeons, Medical Protection Society, AO Foundation, and ATLS. In addition to his clinical work, Mr Dwyer has published research in his field and has provided courses to General Practitioners. His sub-specialties include hip and paediatric orthopaedics. His areas of interest include young adult hip, complex fractures, limb reconstruction, bone and joint infections, and surgery for congenital and acquired deformities.
