Mr Jonathan Baxter is a highly experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Shoulder and Elbow Surgeon with expertise in treating acute injuries and degenerative conditions. His special interests include arthroscopic (keyhole) surgery, tendon injuries including rotator cuff tears, fractures, and dislocations of the shoulder and elbow joints. He also offers treatment for early and advanced arthritis, including joint replacement surgery of the shoulder. With NHS posts as the Lead for Shoulder and Elbow Surgery at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust, Mr Baxter is well-regarded in his field. Mr Baxter has received extensive training, including a Complex Upper Limb Surgery Fellowship and a Complex Trauma Fellowship. He holds qualifications such as FRCS (Orth) from the Royal College of Surgeons of England, BMBS, BMedSci (Hons) from Nottingham University, and MMedEd from the University of Nottingham. His sub-specialties lie in the areas of shoulder and elbow surgery, and he has a keen interest in traumatic injuries, sports injuries, fractures, dislocations, arthroscopy, impingement, and tendon tears, among others. Outside of his professional life, Mr Baxter enjoys running, spectating rugby, skiing, and traveling. He is also actively involved in research, particularly focusing on shoulder and acromioclavicular joint instability, as well as novel techniques in surgical training and education.
