Jeremy Reynolds is an experienced Consultant Spinal Surgeon and the Clinical Lead for Spinal Surgery at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust. With years of expertise, he has a background in Basic Surgical Training from Bristol University and as a Specialist Registrar in Oxford. Having completed a fellowship in Vancouver, Canada, he brought back comprehensive spinal surgery training to Oxford. Jeremy is known for integrating orthopaedic spine with neurosurgical spinal services, enhancing Oxford's reputation as a leading complex spine centre in the UK. His specializations include spinal oncology, trauma & orthopaedic surgery, and spine-related tumour services. Trained with FRCS T and O, Jeremy Reynolds is a member of various medical organizations including BASS, AOSpine, RCS Eng, and British Scoliosis. He offers courses to General Practitioners on spine pathology and has a keen interest in minimal access surgery, cervical spine disorders, degenerative scoliosis, and more. As an Associate member of the AOSpine Knowledge Forum for spinal tumours, he is actively involved in clinical outcomes research, spinal deformity, and the use of bone substitutes in spinal fusion. Jeremy also leads Oxford's Bone and Soft Tissue Tumour Service, developing regional pathways for tumour-related spinal cord compression. Outside his medical practice, Jeremy Reynolds enjoys cycling, traveling, and skiing. His research interests include spinal oncology, spinal deformity, and spine surgery education. With a focus on back pain, lumbar and thoracic spine issues, revision spinal surgery, and more, he aims to provide advanced and comprehensive care in the field of spinal surgery.
