Mr James Webb is a highly experienced Trauma and Orthopaedic Consultant with expertise in hip and knee replacement surgeries. He trained in North East England and Western Australia and has been serving as a Consultant at James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough since 2010. Currently, he practices at Tees Valley Hospital in Middlesbrough and BMI Woodlands Hospital in Darlington, offering his services to patients in Tees Valley, North Yorkshire, and beyond. Mr Webb specializes in complex hip and knee replacement, including re-do (revision) surgeries, as well as soft tissue knee surgery. Moreover, he is one of the pioneering orthopaedic surgeons in the north of England to provide Robot Assisted Hip and Knee replacement using the Mako Robotic System. With one of the highest numbers of hip and knee replacements in the UK, he has demonstrated excellent results in the national joint registry. Patients can expect state-of-the-art surgical techniques, personalized services, and minimal waiting times under Mr Webb's care. Mr Webb's qualifications include a MBBS degree (merit) from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in 1999 and a BMedSci(hons) degree from the same university in 1994. He became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in Trauma and Orthopaedics in 2010. Alongside his memberships in the British Medical Association, Royal College of Surgeons of England, and British Orthopaedic Association, Mr Webb has also pursued a fellowship in Reconstructive Hip Surgery. His areas of interest encompass hip and knee arthritis, Robot Assisted Knee and Hip Replacement using the Mako Robot system, soft tissue knee disorders, knee arthroscopy, partial knee replacement, and trauma.
