Mr. James Singleton is an experienced Orthopaedic Consultant with a specialisation in trauma and knee problems. He has been working as a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon at Frimley Park Hospital, Frimley Health Foundation NHS Trust since 2017. Mr. Singleton is fellowship trained in both trauma surgery and knee surgery. He has a special interest in ligament reconstruction, including multiple knee ligament injuries and revision ligament surgery, as well as meniscal issues. His practice also includes knee sports injuries and soft tissue problems. Mr. Singleton is a member of the British Orthopaedic Association, the British Association for Surgery of the Knee, and the British Patellofemoral Society. Mr. Singleton's qualifications include a FRCS (Tr&Orth) from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2016, an MD(Res) in Bioengineering from Imperial College London in 2018, an MBBS from the University of London (UCL) in 2002, and a BSc in Physiology and Pharmacology from University College London in 1999. His areas of interest and expertise encompass ACL reconstruction, meniscal surgery, PCL reconstruction, knee ligament surgery, patellar instability, MPFL reconstruction, total knee replacement, partial knee replacement, patellofemoral replacement, knee arthritis, joint preservation, high tibial osteotomy, distal femoral osteotomy, and partial knee resurfacing (BioPoly). In addition to his medical work, Mr. Singleton has a strong presence in the field of orthopaedic surgery.
