Mr James Langdon is a highly experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Spinal Surgeon based in Hertfordshire, with expertise in managing disc problems and spinal stenosis. He graduated from St. Mary’s Hospital Medical School in 2000 and completed his specialist orthopaedic and spinal training at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. Mr Langdon is currently the Clinical Director for Trauma, Orthopaedics, and Spinal surgery at West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust. His main surgical interest lies in minimally invasive spinal surgical techniques, aiming to improve patient outcomes and reduce post-operative pain. Specializing in trauma & orthopaedic surgery, with sub-specialties in spine and offering video and telephone consultations, Mr Langdon's areas of interest include sciatica, slipped disc, spinal stenosis, and various lumbar and cervical spine disorders. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and a member of prestigious associations such as the British Association of Spinal Surgeons and the British Orthopaedic Association. With a passion for research, Mr Langdon has published several papers in the field of trauma and orthopaedic surgery, presenting his work at national and international conferences, showcasing his commitment to advancing orthopaedic care. Outside his professional life, Mr James Langdon enjoys spending quality time with his family, cycling, swimming, and honing his culinary skills.
