Mr James Hutchinson is a highly experienced Consultant Hip and Knee surgeon with 19 years of expertise in the field. He completed his preclinical training at the University of Oxford and his clinical training at the University of Cambridge. He also underwent a Fellowship training in Australia, specializing in hip and knee surgeries. Mr Hutchinson performs approximately 300-350 joint replacements each year, with all cases being submitted to the National Joint Registry. His excellent NJR results place him in the top 5% for low revision rates. He has received positive reviews on the "I Want Great Care" website and has had patient articles published in "Horse and Hound" magazine in May 2021. In addition to his private practice, Mr Hutchinson holds NHS posts at the Royal Derby Hospital and the Derby Nuffield Hospital. He specializes in trauma and orthopedic surgery, with a focus on hip and knee procedures. He is a member of the British Hip Society and the British Association for Surgery of the Knee. Mr Hutchinson has also been involved in providing annual lectures to General Practitioners and Physiotherapists.
