Mr James Gibbs is a highly experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Hip and Knee Surgeon. With expertise in managing hip, knee conditions, and sports injuries, he regularly performs surgeries such as hip and knee replacements, redo joint replacements, and soft tissue/sports injury operations. He is known for his use of robotic-assisted computer-navigated surgery. Currently, he holds a position as a Consultant at Brighton & Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust, where he is part of the regional Major Trauma Service. Mr Gibbs is involved in treating severely injured patients and runs the tertiary referral Pelvic and Acetabular fracture service. He is also a member of the Complex Arthroplasty Unit, working with a team of Orthopaedic Consultants to address complex joint replacement issues. Mr Gibbs completed his medical training at The Royal London Hospital in 1998 and went on to obtain the FRCS (Tr & Orth) qualification. He is a proud member of the British Orthopaedic Association and the British Hip Society.
