Hugh Fox is a highly experienced consultant orthopaedic knee surgeon with over 20 years of practice in Winchester. He trained in Bristol, the South West, and the Birmingham Orthopaedic Training Program, culminating with a Fellowship year of specialist training in knee surgery in Brisbane, Australia. He currently holds the position of Consultant Orthopaedic Knee Surgeon at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester. As the most senior orthopaedic surgeon in the area, his main focus is on all types of knee surgery. Hugh Fox has a special interest in arthroscopy, knee replacement surgery, ACL reconstruction, meniscal surgery, revision knee replacements, and knee resurfacing surgery. He is highly trained and has completed a Sports Knee Fellowship. He holds memberships in various professional organizations such as the British Orthopaedic Association (BOA), British Association for Surgery of the Knee (BASK), Royal Society of Medicine (RSM), and the British Medical Association (BMA). In addition to his extensive expertise in knee surgery, Hugh Fox demonstrates a commitment to ongoing professional development. He obtained his MB, ChB qualification in 1986 in Bristol and then went on to achieve FRCS Ed in Edinburgh in 1991 and FRCS Orth in Edinburgh in 1997.
