Harpal Uppal

Mr Harpal Uppal is an experienced consultant orthopaedic surgeon specialising in complex reconstructive shoulder, elbow surgery, and hand surgery. With expertise gained over years of training, including fellowships in Exeter and Bristol, he is recognised for his advanced skills in arthroscopic and open surgery. As the research lead at East & North NHS Trust, he utilises his vast knowledge to provide up-to-date and safe treatments. Mr Uppal holds a Master's degree in evidence-based orthopaedic surgery and is dedicated to the development of artificial intelligence-driven systems to aid in patient care. Having completed his early surgical training in the Oxford region and higher specialist training in trauma and orthopaedics at University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire, Mr Uppal is currently a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at the East & North Herts NHS Trust. His qualifications include a Master of Science from the University of Warwick, Fellowships at the Royal College of Surgeons, and a Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Oxford.
