Harold Nwaboku

Mr Harold Nwaboku is a consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeon with a special interest in disorders of the hip and knee. He is experienced in hip and knee preservation procedures and uses customised partial and total knee implants. He performs total hip and knee replacements, as well as revisions, ACL reconstructions, and repair of cartilage damaged knees. Mr Nwaboku is particularly interested in the treatment of early arthritis of the hip and knee. He currently holds a position as a consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeon at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust, working in Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals. Mr Nwaboku is a member of several medical associations, including the British Medical Association, British Orthopaedic Association, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and Royal Society of Medicine. Mr Nwaboku has qualifications in FRCS trauma and orthopaedics from the Royal College, obtained in 1998. He has also received awards for his expertise in various areas, such as knee ligament injuries, hip and knee preservation, total knee and hip replacements, as well as management of groin pain and clinical examination of the hip and knee. His sub-specialties include hip and knee surgeries. Mr Nwaboku offers consultations and treatments in several private hospitals, including The Cavell Hospital, Kings Oak Hospital, Hadley Wood Hospital, and Nuffield Health Highgate Hospital. Outside of his medical career, Mr Nwaboku enjoys cycling, walking, golf, and reading. His research interests revolve around disorders of the hip and knee, enhanced recovery after surgery, cartilage damage in the hip and knee, and treatment of early arthritis. He is dedicated to providing high-quality care and helping patients achieve optimal outcomes in the treatment of their hip and knee conditions.
