He served as a Consultant in Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery at Royal Hospital Haslar before moving to Peterborough, where he established a successful hand unit. With vast experience in shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand surgery, Gora has a keen interest in joint and tendon reconstruction, nerve release, and grafts. He actively participates in surgical training, research, and educational roles within the NHS. Gora Pathak's training includes fellowships in hand and upper limb surgery, and he is a member of several professional bodies like BOA, BSSH, and CSOS. He has numerous publications in national and international peer-reviewed journals, focusing on hand and wrist surgery. Apart from his surgical expertise, Gora is known for his artistic talent, with his war paintings exhibited and recognized by various organisations. Notably, he was awarded the Order of St John in 2011 for his contributions to both medicine and charity work. Outside of his medical career, Gora Pathak enjoys painting and engaging in charitable activities.
