Mr Edwin Jesudason is an experienced orthopaedic surgeon specializing in disorders of the hand, wrist, and elbow. He also has expertise in general orthopaedic trauma surgery. With over a decade of experience, Mr Jesudason currently holds the position of Consultant Hand & Orthopaedic Surgeon at Ysybyty Gwynedd (Gwynedd Hospital) in Bangor, where he provides his services to patients. To further enhance his skills, Mr Jesudason has undergone advanced training in Hand Surgery. He is a proud member of the British Society for Surgery of the Hand. His impressive qualifications include an MB ChB from the University of Manchester in 1999, an MSc from the University of Central Lancashire in 2006, and an FCRS (Trauma & Orth) from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2010. In addition, he holds a Dip Hand Surg (Br) from the University of Manchester/British Society for Surgery of the Hand earned in 2013. Mr Jesudason's areas of interest encompass sports injuries, nerve injuries, and disorders affecting the musicians hand. Beyond his professional endeavors, he enjoys classical music, practices karate, and indulges in surfing. His research interests revolve around joint replacement in the hand and wrist, motion capture technology in assessing hand function, assessment of nerve injuries, and the study of how the brain controls and coordinates grasp.
