Edward Britton

Mr Edward Britton is an experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in Hip and Knee Surgery. With years of expertise since qualifying in 2001, he has led lower limb surgical units worldwide, particularly in Australia. Mr Britton's NHS practice is based at York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Clifton Park NHS Treatment Centre. Additionally, he performs private clinical work at Clifton Park Hospital and Nuffield Health York Hospital. He also holds a position on the committee for the United Kingdom Knee Osteotomy Registry (UKKOR) and is known for his expertise in joint preserving surgery such as hip arthroscopy, knee osteotomies, and joint replacement surgery. Having completed various fellowships in Lower Limb Arthroplasty, Pelvic Trauma, and Soft Tissue Knee, Mr Britton has developed a specialist focus on knee and hip preserving surgery, including soft tissue knee surgery, knee osteotomies, and hip arthroscopy. He is a board member of the United Kingdom Knee Osteotomy Registry and is associated with several medical associations including the GMC, BMA, BOA, BHS, and BASK.
