Dipak Raj

Mr Dipak Raj is a highly experienced Specialist Knee and Hip surgeon with a background in basic surgical training in India and advanced orthopaedic training in the Oxford Deanery. He has a keen interest in knee and hip surgery, particularly in knee arthroscopy, ligament reconstruction, and joint replacements. Mr Raj has a strong focus on staying up-to-date with the latest technology in his field and has extensive experience in primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty. He has published several research articles and is a member of prestigious medical associations such as the British Orthopaedic Association and the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. Having gained his FRCS (Tr and Orth) in 2006, Mr Dipak Raj has developed specialisations in hip and knee surgery, offering video and telephone consultations in addition to in-person visits. He has completed fellowships in lower limb arthroplasty and knee reconstruction, further honing his skills in these areas. With a passion for sports knee injuries, Mr Raj conducts courses for General Practitioners on musculo-skeletal medicine, focusing on sports-related issues. He has received awards for his contributions to orthopaedic education and has a strong research interest in anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. Outside of his medical practice, Mr Dipak Raj enjoys spirituality, playing badminton, and travelling.
