Mr Dimpu Bhagawati is a highly qualified Complex Spine Surgeon with expertise in modern spinal techniques. He completed two Complex Spine Surgery Fellowships at Oxford University Hospitals and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, London. He has worked as a Consultant Spinal Surgeon at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital and currently serves as a Consultant Orthopaedic and Spinal Surgeon at the Luton and Dunstable University Hospital. Mr Bhagawati's specializations include various spinal surgeries, acute pain relieving procedures, and treating children with back and spine problems. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and a Member of the British Spine Society among other prestigious memberships. Mr Bhagawati has published numerous scientific papers and has presented at major international meetings. Mr Bhagawati holds the position of Clinical Lead for Spinal Surgery and Consultant Orthopaedic Spinal Surgeon at Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He offers a wide range of spinal procedures at various hospitals, including Ramsay Fitzwilliam Hospital and Ramsay Pinehill Hospital. His areas of interest include neck and back pain, spinal surgery, degenerative disc diseases, scoliosis, spinal fractures, and more. He also provides courses to General Practitioners on various spinal conditions. Mr Bhagawati has received several qualifications, including an MSc from University College London and an MA from the University of Oxford. He has also completed the Surgical Leadership Program at Harvard Medical School. In addition to his medical career, Mr Bhagawati has personal interests in cricket, rugby, and football. His research interests include back and neck pain, minimal access spinal surgery, computed navigated surgery, new implant design, and proprioceptive error in scoliosis.
