Dimitrios Tsekes

Mr Dimitrios Tsekes is an experienced Orthopaedic Consultant and Shoulder and Elbow Surgeon. He holds qualifications such as FRCS(orth), FEBOT, and an MSc in "Metabolic Bone Disorders". He is a member of the British Elbow and Shoulder Society and has expertise in trauma and orthopaedic surgery. Mr Tsekes has a holistic and multidisciplinary approach to patient care, working closely with other health professionals to provide evidence-based treatment. He has held positions as a Trauma and Orthopaedic Consultant at Basildon University Hospital and has completed two Upper Limb Fellowships in London. He is passionate about teaching and has been involved in training courses for Upper Limb Surgery. Mr Tsekes has published articles in peer-reviewed journals and has presented at national and international Orthopaedic meetings. He has a particular interest in shoulder and elbow sports injuries. He is currently based at Basildon University Hospital and has private practice locations at Spire Hartswood Hospital, Kings Oak Hospital, Nuffield Health Highgate Hospital, and Prime Health Harley Street. His areas of specialization include hand and wrist, shoulder and elbow, and he also offers video and telephone consultations. In addition to his medical career, Mr Tsekes is interested in research, particularly in the field of shoulder and elbow sports injuries. He is dedicated to providing a comprehensive and compassionate shoulder and elbow service to his patients and is committed to promoting good medical practice.
