Professor David Warwick is a senior Hand Surgeon with over 23 years of experience, specializing in Hand and Wrist surgery. He is based at University Hospital Southampton and holds an Honorary Professorship from the University of Southampton. In 2021, he was awarded the Bronze Clinical Excellence award for his NHS contributions. Professor Warwick is one of Europe's leading experts in Dupuytren's Disease and has a Doctorate in this subject. He is also the President of the British Society for Surgery of the Hand in 2020. He holds the European Diploma of Hand Surgery, the highest qualification in the field. Along with his clinical work, he is actively involved in teaching, research, and writing, with numerous publications on Hand Surgery, including being the Editor and Lead Author of the Oxford Handbook of Hand Surgery.
