David Miller

Mr David Miller is a highly experienced Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon with over a decade of expertise in shoulder, elbow, and hand surgery. He obtained his FRCS (Trauma & Orth) and CCT in 2010, followed by fellowship training in Melbourne, Australia, focusing on shoulder conditions and arthroscopic surgery advancements. Mr Miller serves as the Lead Educational Representative at Leighton Hospital and is actively involved in regional training programmes. His specialist interests encompass upper limb injuries, rotator cuff tears, shoulder arthroscopy, sports injuries, and shoulder replacements. Having completed his undergraduate training at Edinburgh University Medical School, Mr Miller has a strong academic background with numerous publications in shoulder and elbow surgery. He is a member of esteemed professional organisations such as BOA, BESS, and the North West Upper Limb Group. With specialisations in hand & wrist, shoulder & elbow surgeries, his areas of expertise include frozen shoulder, rotator cuff repair, carpal tunnel decompression, and proximal humerus fractures. Mr Miller is dedicated to teaching general practitioners about shoulder pain interventions and sports-related upper limb conditions. In his personal life, Mr David Miller enjoys a variety of sports activities such as squash, running events like marathons and triathlons, tennis, badminton, rugby, and cricket.
