David Hahn is a highly experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with over 20 years of expertise. He is based at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust and holds positions at Nottingham City Hospital, Queen's Medical Centre, and Spire Nottingham Hospital. His main area of interest is knee surgery, specializing in soft tissue knee surgery, including arthroscopy, anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction, and sports injuries. He is also skilled in knee arthroplasty, including total and partial knee replacements, as well as fracture surgery, including pelvic and acetabular surgery. David Hahn has completed various qualifications and training, including a Trauma Fellowship. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and a member of the British Orthopaedic Association, Orthopaedic Trauma Association, and Orthopaedic Trauma Society. He regularly gives talks to General Practitioners, physiotherapists, and sports clubs. His research interests lie in the outcomes of knee replacement designs, ACL reconstruction in athletes, and revision ACL construction. Outside of work, David Hahn is a passionate sportsman, enjoying rugby, cricket, football, and golf. He is also an avid skier and has participated in various charity challenges, such as climbing Mount Kilimanjaro and cycling and climbing the 3 peaks. He provides services to professional sports teams in Nottingham and Loughborough and takes a keen interest in his daughter's athletic career.
