About
Mr Craig Gerrand is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with expertise in bone and soft tissue tumours. He completed his training in Glasgow and Toronto before becoming a Consultant in 2001. He started his career in Newcastle upon Tyne and later moved to the London Sarcoma Service at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore in 2018. Mr Gerrand's practice focuses on the surgical care of patients with bone and soft tissue tumours, including sarcomas, metastatic bone disease, and benign tumours. He is dedicated to improving patient care through research, teaching, and service development. Mr Craig Gerrand has a special interest in musculoskeletal cancers and sees patients of all ages with suspected or proven tumours in the arms, legs, and pelvis. These include malignant tumours such as soft tissue sarcoma, bone sarcoma (osteosarcoma, Ewings sarcoma, chondrosarcoma), and metastatic bone disease from breast or prostate cancer. He also treats patients with benign tumours like giant cell tumour of bone, tenosynovial giant cell tumour, synovial chondromatosis, and lipomas. Mr Gerrand offers video and telephone consultations in addition to in-person appointments. In addition to his clinical work, Mr Craig Gerrand is actively involved in research, teaching, and service development to advance the care of patients with musculoskeletal cancers. He is dedicated to improving outcomes and ensuring the highest quality of care for his patients.
