Christopher Robinson

Christopher Robinson is a highly experienced Senior Orthopaedic and Trauma Consultant with a specialization in disorders of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand. He holds the position of Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon at the New Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh in Little France. With over 20 years of expertise, Mr Robinson has a major research interest in fractures and dislocation in the upper limb and has published extensively on these subjects in renowned medical journals such as The Lancet and The Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery. He is a member of the British Medical Association and has participated in numerous GP seminars, sharing his knowledge and expertise with general practitioners. Mr Robinson has completed his FRCS Ed (Orth) qualification in 1995 at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He is a specialist in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery, with sub-specialties in Hand & Wrist, Shoulder & Elbow, and Video and telephone consultations. In addition to his NHS role, he also consults at Nuffield Health Edinburgh Hospital and Spire Murrayfield Hospital Edinburgh. Outside of his medical practice, Christopher Robinson enjoys running, playing tennis, and listening to modern music. His personal interests reflect his passion for leading an active and well-rounded lifestyle. With his wealth of experience and expertise, Mr Robinson is dedicated to providing excellent care and treatment to patients suffering from shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand disorders, as well as trauma injuries in the upper limb.
