Mr Chetan Modi is a highly experienced Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in shoulder and elbow conditions. He has extensive expertise in arthroscopic and minimally invasive surgical techniques, treating various injuries and conditions to enable accelerated rehabilitation. Mr Modi completed fellowship training in Toronto, Exeter, and Derby, as well as a travelling fellowship sponsored by the British Elbow and Shoulder Society. He is published widely within the field and is committed to teaching, research, and providing personalised care to his patients. With over a decade of experience, Mr Modi has a special interest in tennis elbow, golfers elbow, shoulder stabilisation, rotator cuff injuries, and shoulder and elbow replacements. He is a member of the British Elbow and Shoulder Society, Royal College of Surgeons in England, and British Medical Association. His qualifications include an MBChB from the University of Manchester, MSc Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery from the University of Warwick, and FRCS (Tr and Orth) from the Royal College of Surgeons in England. Mr Modi also holds a Diploma in Sports and Exercise Medicine. Outside of work, Mr Modi enjoys playing squash and football, cycling, long-distance running, and spending time with his family. He is married to a General Practitioner and is actively involved in ongoing clinical trials at University Hospital Coventry, researching and developing new treatments for the future in collaboration with his research team.
