Birender Balain

Mr Birender Balain is an experienced NHS Consultant Spine Surgeon with expertise in managing various spinal disorders, utilising both open surgery and Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery techniques. He currently works at the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopedic Hospital in Oswestry, where he conducts Fully Endoscopic Spine Surgery for lumbar discectomy and decompression. Mr Balain specialises in spinal fixation, deformity correction, and areas such as cervical spine disorders, spinal stenosis, and sciatica. With over 10 years of expertise, Mr Birender Balain holds qualifications including MBBS, MS (Orth), FRCS (Tr & Orth), and FRCS. His special interests lie in Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery, Fully Endoscopic Spine Surgery, and research areas focused on back pain and cervical disorders.
