He is also involved in medical education and surgical training for junior and higher orthopaedic surgical trainees. Mr Ali holds the position of Consultant Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeon at the University Hospital North Midlands NHS Trust. He is a member of the British Orthopaedic Association, British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society, British Medical Association, and Bangladesh Medical Society (UK). He has published several articles in renowned journals on topics such as failed total ankle arthroplasty, osteochondral lesions of the talar dome, unusual cases of elbow locking, and anatomic description of the distal tibia. In addition to his professional activities, Mr Ali has interests in skiing, movie-going, traveling, and reading. His research interests include ankle trauma, hindfoot conditions, foot trauma, and diabetic foot conditions.
