Mr Tony Helm is a highly experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in Lower Limb Surgery. With over 20 years of expertise, he graduated from Manchester University in 1996 and completed his Higher Surgical Training in Nottingham and the North West. Mr Helm has a particular interest in total joint replacement and arthroscopic knee surgery. He believes that age should not be a barrier to joint replacement surgery, especially with recent advancements in technology and materials. Currently, Mr Helm holds a position as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, working at Royal Preston and Chorley Hospitals. In addition to his NHS role, Mr Helm practices at Ramsay Fulwood Hall Hospital and Spire Fylde Coast Hospital. He specializes in Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery, focusing on hip and knee procedures. He has published a notable work, "ABC of Spinal Disorders," and holds qualifications including FRCS Tr and Orth from the Intercollegiate Board and MRCS Eng from the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
