Mr Andrew Quaile is a retired Orthopaedic Surgeon who specialised in evaluating and treating spinal disorders. He no longer performs surgical procedures but focuses on assessment and nonoperative pain control. He works closely with physiotherapists, osteopaths, and chiropractors to treat patients, and offers targeted injections for symptom reduction. Mr Quaile has worked in Frimley Park Hospital during his career in the NHS. He is a member of various professional organizations, including the British Orthopaedic Association and the British Association of Spinal Surgeons. He has published articles on spinal infections and the use of NSAIDs in upper tibial osteotomy in the International Orthopaedics journal. Additionally, he has given lectures to general practitioners in Hampshire, Surrey, and Sussex, and has been involved in writing and reviewing papers for SICOT. Mr Quaile has a MB BS degree from London and received his MRCS LRCP qualification in England in 1978, followed by his FRCS in Glasgow in 1984. He has been recognised for his contributions through multiple GP lectures and morning meetings for allied health practitioners. His areas of interest include low back pain, lumbar spine and sciatica, non-operative pain control techniques, and cervical spine treatments. He is passionate about patient education and works closely with physiotherapists, osteopaths, and chiropractors. In his personal life, Mr Quaile is married with three sons who are starting their own careers. He spends his weekends restoring a property in France and improving the land. His other interests include rugby, wine, and creating a wildlife reserve.
