Andrew James

Andrew James is a highly experienced NHS Consultant in Trauma and Orthopaedics, currently working at Musgrave Park Hospital in Belfast and the Ulster Hospital in Dundonald. He specializes in Complex Hip and Knee replacements as well as Hip and Knee revision surgeries. With his extensive training and expertise, he is well-equipped to handle lower limb revision and primary joint replacement surgeries. Andrew is also passionate about education and healthcare leadership, holding a Masters in Medical Education and having completed the British Orthopaedic Association Leadership Course. In addition to his NHS posts, Andrew James is associated with Kingsbridge Private Hospital. He has completed his higher surgical training in Northern Ireland and has also undertaken an international fellowship in New Zealand. Andrew's qualifications include a Master of Medical Science from Queens University Belfast in 2011, a MB BCh BAO from Queens University Belfast in 2002, and FRCS (Ed) Trauma and Orthopaedics from RSCEd in 2013. He has also received training in management and leadership, holding a Level 7 qualification in these areas. Andrew's areas of interest include Hip Replacement Surgery and Knee Replacement Surgery for the over 50s. With his expertise and dedication to patient care, he is committed to providing the highest quality of orthopaedic services to his patients.
