Mr. Andrew Gordon is a highly experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with expertise in trauma and orthopaedic surgery. He is currently practicing at the Northern General and Royal Hallamshire Hospitals, as well as Spire Claremont Hospital. He has been a Fellow in hip and knee replacement surgery at Nottingham University NHS Trust and has completed a PhD in the outcomes of hip replacement surgery. Mr. Gordon has received both national and international awards for his research work. He holds several positions, including Vice Chair of the Dr Foster Global Comparators Group and Organisational Development Clinical Lead at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. In addition to his clinical roles, Mr. Gordon is actively involved in teaching and training. He conducts courses for General Practitioners on hip and knee arthritis and has published numerous articles in prestigious journals such as The Lancet and the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery. He is a member of the British Hip Society and holds memberships with other professional bodies including the Medical Protection Society and the General Medical Council. Mr. Gordon is also interested in video and telephone consultations and offers these services to his patients. Outside of his medical career, Mr. Gordon has personal interests in drumming, junior football coaching, and woodturning. He is dedicated to providing the best possible care to his patients and continues to contribute to research and advancements in hip and knee replacement surgery.
