Mr Amr Elkhouly is a highly experienced Consultant of Trauma and Orthopaedics at the Royal Berkshire Hospital. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in the field of Trauma and Orthopaedics and is a Member of the British Society for Children�s Orthopaedic Surgery. He also serves as a faculty member at the Miller�s International Orthopaedic FRCS teaching course in Oxford. Mr Elkhouly's surgical practice encompasses both paediatric orthopaedics and adult limb reconstruction, with a particular focus on foot and ankle deformities, lower limb deformities, and paediatric hip pathology. He has completed specialist fellowships at prominent hospitals including Alderhey's Children Hospital and the Ilizarov Institute Kurgan in Russia. Additionally, he has a keen interest in joint replacement surgery and the management of soft tissue injuries of the knee. Mr Amr Elkhouly holds various qualifications, including an MCh in Alexandria University and an MCh in Trauma and Orthopaedics from Benha University. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and a Member of the British Society for Children's Orthopaedic Surgery. Mr Elkhouly is also actively involved in teaching and research, presenting at international meetings and publishing in peer-reviewed journals. Outside of his professional life, he is a dedicated basketball player and has represented his country at an international level, earning multiple gold medals. He is also a proud supporter of the Reading Rockets Basketball team and enjoys cycling in his leisure time. Mr Amr Elkhouly's areas of interest include hip replacement surgery, knee replacement surgery, knee surgery, soft tissue injuries of the knee, and paediatric deformities. He specializes in the management of paediatric hip pathology, foot and ankle deformities, and lower limb deformities. In addition, he has expertise in limb alignment surgery and lower limb joint replacement surgery. Mr Elkhouly holds positions in various hospitals, including the Royal Berkshire Hospital, Spire Dunedin Hospital, Ramsay Berkshire Independent Hospital, and Circle Reading Hospital.
