Mr Amol Tambe is a highly experienced Trauma and Orthopaedic surgeon, specializing in shoulder and elbow surgery. He trained as a Specialist Registrar in Trauma and Orthopaedics in the Mid-Trent Orthopaedic programme, achieving success at the FRCS (Trauma and Orthopaedics) level. He further advanced his skills and knowledge with a one-year Fellowship in the renowned Wrightington Upper Limb Unit and was awarded the prestigious British Elbow and Shoulder Society Travelling Fellowship in 2008. Mr Tambe has also gained valuable experience in centers of excellence in the UK, Europe, and the USA, including the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. Mr Tambe practices at the Royal Derby Hospital and Nuffield Health Derby Hospital. His areas of expertise include arthroplasty, shoulder and elbow surgery, rotator cuff tears, shoulder dislocation, and fractures of the shoulder and elbow.
