Mr Alpesh Kothari is a highly experienced Specialist Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon based in Oxford. He completed his medical training at the University of Oxford and his post-graduate Orthopaedic training in Oxford as well. With a First Class Honours Degree in medical sciences from the University of Cambridge, Mr Kothari also holds a Masters in Orthopaedic engineering and a DPhil in which he investigated flat-feet in children. He has undertaken fellowship training at the prestigious Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto and has further travelled across South America for fellowships. Mr Kothari's sub-speciality interests include children's foot and ankle disorders, knee problems such as knee-cap instability, developmental hip dysplasia, and neuromuscular conditions like cerebral palsy and spina bifida. He is actively involved in clinical research, postgraduate supervision, and training orthopaedic residents. Mr Kothari is an associate fellow of the Higher Education Academy and is frequently invited to teach at national and international events.
