Mr. Almas Khan is a fellowship-trained full-time spine surgeon based in Leeds. He has been a consultant in complex spine surgery since 2011. His special interests include complex spinal reconstructive surgery, scoliosis correction, and revision spine procedures. He is experienced in treating various conditions affecting the spine, such as disc prolapse, spinal stenosis, deformity of the spine, tumours and cancers of the spine, and other degenerative conditions. Mr. Khan offers a wide range of spinal diagnostic, minimally invasive, and routine spine procedures, including spinal injections, decompression surgery, vertebroplasty, tumour surgery, and spine surgery in children and adolescents. He also provides second opinions and follow-up reviews for patients who have had scoliosis surgery abroad. Mr. Khan holds NHS posts as a consultant spinal surgeon and honorary senior lecturer at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. His NHS practice is based at Leeds General Infirmary. Mr. Khan has completed an Advanced Surgical Training Fellowship in Complex Spine Surgery. He is a member of various professional organizations, including the British Orthopaedic Association, British Association of Spine Surgeons, and British Scoliosis Society.
