Mr. Ali Noorani is an experienced Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in upper limb surgery, including shoulder and elbow treatments. He completed his medical training at Imperial College School of Medicine and obtained further specialization in Upper Limb Surgery from the prestigious Royal London Hospital rotation. Mr. Noorani has completed Specialist Fellowship training in Shoulder, Elbow, and Upper Limb Surgery at renowned institutions such as The Royal Liverpool Hospital and has gained valuable training in the US at Harvard University, Mayo Clinic, Columbia University, and the Rothman Institute. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and has received numerous prestigious fellowships and awards for his expertise in the field. Mr. Noorani's special interests include sports injuries, shoulder and elbow joint preservation and management, and trauma surgery. He is a founding member of the Royal London Orthopaedic and Trauma Society and the Barts Orthopaedic Fund, and he holds memberships in several professional organizations. In addition to his private practice, Mr. Noorani also works as a substantive Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon specializing in trauma and upper limb surgery at St Bartholomew's and Royal London Hospital (Barts Health NHS Trust), where he is involved in the treatment of complex upper limb cases. He has implemented innovative pathways and streamlined the patient journey in the upper limb service, including the introduction of a one-stop clinic. Mr. Noorani is actively involved in research and has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals. He is the principal investigator for several multicenter randomized controlled trials and serves on the review board for the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery.
