Mr Ali Al-Sabti is a highly experienced orthopaedic surgeon with a special interest in shoulder surgery. He has developed expertise in arthroscopic surgery and specifically focuses on shoulder conditions in athletes. Mr Al-Sabti believes that most shoulder conditions can be treated with arthroscopy, resulting in minimal scarring and faster rehabilitation. He is affiliated with Nuffield Health Brentwood Hospital, Spire Hartswood Hospital, and Nuffield Health The Holly Hospital. Mr Al-Sabti holds several memberships, including being a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, a member of the British Orthopaedic Association, and a member of the British Medical Association. He has also contributed to various publications, such as "At Home" by Dr Hilary Jones and Dr Chris Steele, "The Good Life" in the Sunday Telegraph, and "Not to be shrugged off" in West Essex Life. With qualifications dating back to 1983, Mr Al-Sabti holds an FRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh. He has received awards for his contributions to shoulder problems in general practice, clinical examination of the shoulder, and the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Shoulder, among others. In addition to his specialization in shoulder surgery, Mr Al-Sabti also has expertise in hand and wrist procedures, elbow conditions, and various hand conditions. Outside of his medical practice, he enjoys sport cars and flying remote control airplanes. His research interests primarily revolve around shoulder conditions.
