Mr Alain Iserin is a highly experienced orthopaedic surgeon specializing in the management of shoulder issues. Originally from France, he completed his medical training in Paris and further trained in shoulder surgery in the United States with renowned surgeons. Mr Iserin has worked at prestigious clinics in Paris and has focused his practice on the shoulder for the past 20 years. He performs approximately 300 procedures per year, with a majority utilizing an arthroscopic approach. He is a member of the French Arthroscopy Society and the European Society for Shoulder Surgery. Mr Iserin is bilingual, speaking excellent English, and accepts referrals for all shoulder issues, particularly sports injuries, rotator cuff tears, shoulder replacements, and revisions. Mr Iserin holds an honorary NHS post at Oaks Hospital in Colchester, Essex, and Horton TC in Banbury, Oxfordshire. He is fully registered with the General Medical Council and listed on the Specialist Register for Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery. His special interests include reverse shoulder replacement, shoulder revision, shoulder stabilization, rotator cuff repairs, arthroscopy shoulder surgery, subacromial decompression, and treatment of various shoulder conditions such as frozen shoulder, impingement syndrome, calcific tendinosis, and more. He also has expertise in shoulder fracture management and shoulder arthroscopy for rotator cuff tendon tears and shoulder instability. In addition to his clinical work, Mr Iserin has published research papers in the field of shoulder arthroscopy. He is affiliated with Ramsay Oaks Hospital and Ramsay Cherwell Hospital.
