Mr Adam Rumian is a highly experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon who specializes in treating patients with shoulder and elbow problems. He is skilled in various minimally invasive techniques, keyhole and arthroscopic procedures, joint replacements, and complex reconstructions. Mr Rumian completed his medical education at prestigious institutions such as St Paul's School in London, Cambridge University, and the Imperial School of Medicine. He underwent specialist training in Trauma and Orthopaedic surgery in London and further training in shoulder and elbow surgery, including a fellowship in the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. He also had the opportunity to train with Professor Pascal Boileau in Nice, France. Mr Rumian currently works as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at the East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. Mr Rumian's areas of interest include various shoulder conditions such as frozen shoulder, rotator cuff tears, and shoulder impingement, as well as elbow conditions like tennis elbow and ulnar nerve entrapment. He performs a wide range of operations including shoulder arthroscopy, rotator cuff repair, shoulder stabilization, elbow arthroscopy, and elbow replacement. Mr Rumian is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, England, and a member of the British Elbow and Shoulder Society, British Orthopaedic Association, and the Hospital Consultants and Specialists Association. He has achieved several qualifications, including FRCS (Tr&Orth) from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. In addition to his clinical work, Mr Rumian has research interests in rotator cuff healing and shoulder replacement surgery. He is registered with the General Medical Council as a specialist in Trauma and Orthopaedics.
