Mr Adam Ajis is a highly experienced Consultant Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeon with a special interest in disorders of the foot and ankle. He provides personalized treatment plans for all conditions, ranging from routine to complex. Mr Ajis is dual fellowship trained and has expertise in minimally invasive surgery, ankle replacement surgery, and sports injuries. He has received awards and prizes for his research contributions and has published numerous research papers in high-impact factor journals. Mr Ajis is actively involved in teaching and training the next generation of doctors and is a faculty member on various training courses. In his leisure time, he enjoys playing tennis and racing cars. Mr Ajis completed his higher surgical training in trauma and orthopaedic surgery and achieved Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons FRCS (Tr & Orth). He gained further fellowship training in foot and ankle surgery in the USA and with one of the most experienced foot and ankle surgeons in the UK. Mr Ajis is a member of the General Medical Council, American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society, British Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society, and the Royal College of Surgeons UK. He has presented educational presentations at local, national, and international meetings and has won awards for academic distinctions and travelling fellowships. He is actively involved in research and has published numerous research papers and book chapters. In his free time, Mr Ajis enjoys playing tennis, racing cars, visiting National Trust properties, and countryside walking and cycling. He is an enthusiastic educator and is involved in training medical students and examiners at various medical schools. He also hosts medical students in his NHS clinics and is a faculty member on several training courses in foot and ankle surgery.
