Abbas Rashid is a Consultant Shoulder & Elbow surgeon at University College London Hospital (UCLH). He has extensive experience in trauma and orthopedic surgery. Abbas completed his BSc in Orthopedics with first-class honors from UCL in 2000, followed by an MBBS with distinction from Imperial College in 2003. He has also completed various fellowships and trainings in upper limb surgery, including the Wrightington Upper Limb Fellowship and AO Trauma Fellowship. Abbas specializes in evidence-based treatment of complex trauma, sports injuries, and degenerative conditions of the upper limb. He has a particular interest in functional outcomes in upper limb surgery, innovations in arthroplasty, and the use of biologics.
