At Medbelle we know that paying & financing your treatment can be daunting & stressful, which is why we're totally transparent and want you to understand all your options for both orthopaedic and cosmetic surgery payment transactions.
Orthopaedic Self-Pay Pricing Explained
Indicative Pricing
Patients receive an indicative price based on their selected treatment and the information provided, this price takes into account the area/s that require treatment and the location of the highly rated Care Quality Commission hospital.
Surgeon Consultation Price
The orthopaedic surgeon consultation price can range between £150 to £300, depending on speciality and location. This covers the consultation with a specialist in person or via video call. Payment will be taken within three days of booking an appointment. Payment can be made via credit card or bank transfer.
How to Make Payment
To make a payment, you can find the bank details on the bottom of any invoice issued, please use the invoice number as your reference and once processed you’ll receive a receipt to your email address.
Final Price
Post consultation all patients receive their personalised treatment plan, date options for surgery and final price all detailed in an email, this is valid for a period of three months, the final price for self-pay patients includes the surgery, physiotherapy, aftercare, post-operative follow-ups and any relevant diagnostics.
Should patients wish to confirm their treatment and secure their surgery date they can do so via the booking link. This will trigger an invoice to be generated and emailed to the patient. Patients are typically required to pay a 10% deposit within three days, payable via credit/debit card or bank transfer. In order to make a payment, you can use your invoice number to identify yourself on a bank transfer. You’ll find our bank details at the base of your invoice.

Cancellation Policy and Fees
Should a patient decide they do not wish to proceed with their procedure, cancellation is possible, however, they may incur cancellation fees. Instances such as acts of god or personal emergencies will not incur cancellation fees. Fees will apply should the patient cancel after their cooling off period and/or the patient fails to comply with the terms and conditions and Medbelle or the surgeon are required to cancel the procedure, e.g patient fails to stop taking medications as per the surgeon’s request.

Procedure Rescheduling and Fees
Should a patient want to reschedule their procedure, they can do so, but they may incur some rescheduling fees. Instances such as acts of god or personal emergencies will not incur rescheduling fees. Patients may be subject to fees if the procedure needs to be rescheduled due to any medical history not previously disclosed by the patient. If the patient fails to follow the terms and conditions and Medbelle or the surgeon is required to reschedule, e.g. the patient fails to stop taking medication as per the surgeon's instructions.

Physiotherapy Pricing
For their postoperative physiotherapy care, self-pay patients can choose to see one of Medbelle’s physiotherapists or we’re able to assist you in finding alternative options should they suit your location and diary better. For patients using private medical insurance, Our Patient Care Advisers can liaise with the insurance provider to work out what is covered in terms of physiotherapy and make the patient aware of their options.
Revision Pricing
Following treatment, patients continue to have regular follow-ups with the surgeon, physiotherapist and the nurses at the hospital, within these appointments they can discuss their recovery and results. However, should they have any further questions regarding their care and results they can contact our Patient Support department, they will listen, document all concerns and work alongside Operations and the surgeon to resolve any issues and where necessary they can refer the case to the Medical Advisory Committee.

Finance Options
We offer a competitive loan option that allows patients to make monthly repayments over one to five years.

Indicative Pricing
Patients receive an indicative price based on the information they provide, this price takes into account the procedure they’d like to have, the location of the highly-rated CQC hospital and the surgeon’s expertise and years of experience.
Free Surgeon Consultation
The cosmetic surgery consultation is free, it takes place with a highly experienced surgeon in a central location or via video call. Card details will be taken to secure the appointment. There is a cancellation fee of £150 should patients fail to show up or do not cancel/change their consultation within three days of the appointment.
Final Pricing
Post-consultation all patients receive their personalised treatment plan, date options for surgery and final price all detailed in an email, this is valid for a period of three months. The final price includes the hospital, surgeon and anaesthetist fees, pre-assessments, any overnight stays and all your aftercare appointments.

10 or less days’ notice | 100% of the total procedure price or £2,000 (whichever is higher) cancellation fee |
